Seeds- everywhere I look Seeds.
Why so many seeds? Seeds are culture, and allow me to let you in on something, culture is in big trouble. The ability to save your genetic heritage, or what Wendell Berry calls, "The slow knowledge, the accumulated mistakes and successes over generations." is huge. Prodigious multinational corporations are taking our connection to our grandfathers and to the soil. Saving seeds is a very revolutionary thing to do, it takes the power back and puts it into local growing systems where it should be, and at the same time builds ritual and teaches patients.
